  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.

Re: Ask Obama about the Economy

I have high hopes that America is finally starting to realize the ideology and agenda of this suave well spoken young man they elected as President.

The Dems could never have dreamed of a better opportunity to sneak socialism into the fabric of America than this economic crisis.

I pray that the Republicans have the male anatomy to stand up against that agenda in Congress and that America wakes up and changes course in the 2010 elections. They won't do it unless the Republicans can get their act together and provide a chohesive conservative alternative to the Obama / Dem socialism.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

This reminds me of something I posted on a testicular cancer website day before yesterday.

My husband said that yesterday at work, he and a couple co-workers were standing around talking about an issue. One of them said that in order to fix the issue, they needed to stand up to certain people about it. The other looked at my husband and said "Yeah! You need to get some....." then she was silent. And then she bolted out of the room. LOL! Later, she came up to my husband and apologized and said "I didn't mean anything by that!" My husband laughed and said "Don't worry about it." He said it was worth it just to see the look on her face when she bolted and ran.
