One, Two, or Three Gods?

Hearing or reading the words to these songs, do you think we can say these authors really believe in "three gods"?

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will one day walk on water?
Did you know
That your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
That your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that youve delivered
Will soon deliver you

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Did you know
That your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know
That your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
And when you kiss your little boy
Youve kissed the face of god

Mary, did you know?
The blind will see
The deaf will hear
And the dead will live again
The lame will leap
The dumb will speak
The praises of the lamb

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy is lord of all creation?
Did you know
That your baby boy will one day rules the nations?
Did you know
That your baby boy is heavens perfect lamb?
This sleeping child youre holding
Is the great I am

Re: One, Two, or Three Gods?

how about this one?

YOUR NAME IS HOLY

One
You are the sovereign I am
Your name is holy
You are the pure spotless Lamb
Your name is holy

Two
You are the Almighty One
Your name is holy
You are the Christ, God’s own Son
Your name is holy

Three
You are the Father and Son
Your name is holy.
You are the Spirit who’s come
Your name is Holy.

Four
You are the First and the Last
Your name is holy.
The future, the present, the past
Your name is holy.

Five
Your name is higher than all
Your name is holy.
Jesus, for mercy we call
Your name is holy.

Chorus
In Your name, there is mercy for sin
There is safety within
In Your holy name
In Your name, there is strength to remain
To stand in spite of pain
In Your holy name

Re: One, Two, or Three Gods?

All In Him
by: George Farrow

Verse 1
The mighty God is Jesus
The Prince of Peace is He
The Everlasting Father
The King Eternally
The Wonderful in wisdom
By whom all things were made
The fullness of the Godhead
in Jesus is displayed

Verse 2
Emmanuel God with us
Jehovah Lord of hosts
The omnipresent Spirit
Who fills the universe
The Advocate The High Priest
The Lamb for sinners slain
The Author of redemption
Oh glory to His name

Verse 3
The Alpha and Omega
Beginning and the End
The Living Word incarnate
The helpless sinner's friend
Our wisdom and perfection
Our righteousness and power
Yea all we need in Jesus
We find this very hour

Verse 4
Our God for whom we've waited
Will be the glad refrain
Of Israel recreated
When Jesus comes again
Lo He will come and save us
Our King and Priest to be
For in Him dwells all fullness
And Lord of All is He

Chorus
It's all in Him
It's all in Him
The fullness of the Godhead is all in Him
It's all in Him
It's all in Him
The Mighty God is Jesus and
It's all in Him

Re: One, Two, or Three Gods?

I've seen this one in a trinitarian song book

Jesus The Son of God
Garfield Thomas Haywood

Do you know Jesus
Our Lord, our Savior
Jesus the Son of God
Have you ever seen Him
Or shared of His favor
Jesus the Son of God

O sweet Wonder
O sweet Wonder
Jesus the Son of God
How I adore Thee
O how I love Thee
Jesus the Son of God

God gave Him, a ransom
Our souls to recover
Jesus the Son of God
His blood made us worthy
His Spirit to hover
Jesus the Son of God

O who would reject Him
Despise or forsake Him
Jesus the Son of God
O who ever sought Him
And He would not take Him
Jesus the Son of God

If you will accept Him
And trust and believe Him
Jesus the Son of God
Your soul will exalt Him
And never will leave Him
Jesus the Son of God

Words public domain

I remember another verse that says:
And some day from Heaven,
On clouds of bright glory
Jesus, the Son of God,
Shall come for His jewels
Most precious and holy
Jesus, the Son of God.

Re: One, Two, or Three Gods?

anybody remember singing this in church?

1. Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in Christ Jesus, blessed unity!

2. Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,
Who was, and is, and evermore shall be.

3. Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see;
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,
Perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity.

4. Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All Thy works shall praise Thy Name, in earth, and sky, and sea;
Holy, holy, holy; merciful and mighty!
God in Christ Jesus, blessed unity!

I always thought so too.
It was number 29 (I think) in our Pentecostal Praises song book.
For some reason or another I thought it was written by L.C. Hall who was a trinitarian but the author's name above is given as George Farrow. I don't know who that was.

Re: One, Two, or Three Gods?

How about these words?

Hark the herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!
Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled"
Joyful, all ye nations rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With the angelic host proclaim:
"Christ is born in Bethlehem"
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"

Christ by highest heav'n adored
Christ the everlasting Lord!
Late in time behold Him come
Offspring of a Virgin's womb
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see
Hail the incarnate Deity
Pleased as man with man to dwell
Jesus, our Emmanuel
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"

Hail the heav'n-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Son of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings
Ris'n with healing in His wings
Mild He lays His glory by
Born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of earth
Born to give them second birth
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"
