The Carter Family Gospel Songs.
I somewhat have a heritage of music that goes back to The Carter Family as my grandfather Ray Hutchinson loved their music.
This music is too precious to be forgotten by this generation,and many today have never heard this music which is timeless.
This thread is my attempt to introduce people to the gospel songs of The Carter Family.

I like Carter Family music.
PBS has done a program on them that I've seen a couple times.
If I knew it was going to be on again, I'd watch it again.
I like that unique guitar picking.
Mother Maybelle's prayers helped Johnny Cash to get his life straightened out.
There was a little bit about that in the movie The Man in Black but the God part was downplayed.

This music is apart of me,it's like deep down in my soul as I get older it's like a connection to the past or something.
My grandparents are all gone except one it's a like connection to them.
