Obsession with food (not hair)

Has anyone seen "Man vs Food" yet? I just started watching a few episodes of this show and it is surprisingly good. He always ends each episode taking on some sort of eating challenge, always involving either quantity or heat (spice).

How many have ever gotten their meal free because they "beat" a local challenge such as conquering a 76 ounce steak or 15 dozen oysters....?

(I thought maybe you were fasting today, or something. That's usually when I become unusually obsessed with the thought of food.)

Last night I saw an episode where he was in Atlanta and went to a sports bar named the Vortex. They had a bleu cheese hamburger that haunted my dreams (in a good way) last night. His challenge there was to eat a 30 inch pizza in one hour (with the help of one partner). Besides being just huge this thing also had over 11 lbs of meat on it. He didn't succeed.

That guy knows he can put away some food watch it all the time he put a 72oz steak away one episode

That's just sickening.

I'll bet I could do it with tacos, though.

He did try to beat a record where he had to eat at least 8 massive breakfast taco's. The current record was 7 but he quit after 4. To see the 8 plates lined up had to make anyone think, where does it all go??
