What Will Matter

Received by E-mail this morning from Nona Freeman's kneemail

Very thought provoking!

~*~WHAT WILL MATTER~*~

THOUGHT: Every Saint once had a past, but in JESUS CHRIST now they have a future!
.................................................. .................................................. ....

Ready or not someday it will all come to an end. There will be no more:
Sunrises,
Minutes,
Hours or
Days.
All the things you have collected, whether treasured or forgotten will all pass off to someone else.

Your wealth, fame, temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance. It will not matter what you owned or what you owed; your grudges, resentments, frustrations and jealousies will all disappear. So, too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to-do-lists will expire.

The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away. It won't matter where you came from or what side of the track you lived on at the end.
It won't matter whether you were beautiful, handsome or brilliant, even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant.

So what will matter? How will the value of your days be measured?

WHAT WILL MATTER IS:
Not what you bought, but what you built.
Not what you got but what you gave to God.
Not your success but your significance.
Not what you learned but what you taught.
Every act of integrity, compassion, courage or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.
Not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you are gone.
Not your memories but the memory of you that lives on in those who loved you.
How long you will be remembered, by whom and for what?
Living a life that matters does not happen by accident,

It's not a matter of circumstance but of choice, and eternal destiny, so choose to live a life that matters and beginning right now make this day the best day of life.

Today, realize this is the best day of my life, ever! There were times when you wondered if you would make it to today; but you did! And because you did, praise Jesus name!

Today celebrate what an unbelievable life it has been so far: the blessings, accomplishments and even the hardships because they have served to give strength. Go through this day with head held high, and a happy heart.

Today, marvel at God's simple gifts: the dew, nature and let none of these miraculous creations will escape notice.

Today, share the excitement for life with others. Touch someone with love for the name of JESUS.. Go out of your way to perform an unexpected act of kindness for someone you don't even know.

Today, give a sincere compliment to someone who seems down. Tell a child how special they are, and tell someone you love just how deeply you care for them, how much they mean to you because they may need to hear it today of all days.

Today is the day to quit worrying about what you don't have and start being grateful for what God has already given. Remember to worry is just a waste of time because faith in God and his Divine Plan ensures everything will be just fine.

Tonight, before you go to bed, go outside and raise your eyes to the heavens. Stand in awe at the beauty of the heavens and praise God for these magnificent treasures.

As the day ends lay your head down on your pillow, and thank the Almighty for the best day of your life. Sleep the sleep of a contented child, excited with expectation because today is going to be the best day of life, ever!

Because you see; the best things in life are free.
When we count our many blessings it isn't hard to see,
That life's most valued treasures are the ones that are free.
For it isn't what we own or buy that signifies our wealth;
It's the special gifts that have no price; our family, friends and health!

To those I love; thanks for being mine! You are the reason I am wealthy beyond measure.
