PLEASE!!!! Joe the Plumber owed a petty amount of state taxes to a state he no longer lived in and it was proof to the Sold Out Media and the rest of Obamaniacs that this man was worthy of a tirade of personal attacks and public humiliation because he dared to ask an honest question of the Chosen One that caused BO to give a revealing answer. His owing of taxes was certainly more than a "hiccup" in the eyes of the lefties.
TG is going to be the head of the US Treasury. At such a critical time as this, do we want a man in charge who has ethical and legal issues following him? Do we want a treasurer handling taaxpayer money when he personally can't be responsible to tke care of his own taxes?
Where are the cries for "vetting" this nominee? Remember how McCain was excoriated by the media for not vetting Palin like they thought he should? She didn't have near the issues this guy has. Every day traditional media continues to prove how irrelevant and how lacking in objectivity they are. And every day so far this new administration seems to be more of the same rather than "change we can believe in".

There are Republicans in the Senate who are amazingly quiet on this issue for some reason.
I guess maybe they understand the specifics of this unique situation, but I am not sure.
Personally, I think President-elect Obama could have picked someone better for this position. In fact, this was the kind of position where he could have placed a Conservative and it would have been acceptable to his base and an olive branch to the GOP.
He has done just that with a few of the other positions, like he said he would.
