I can't really tell by their web site.

No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?

Really?
It is, and it isn't.
It's an Apostolic church, with UPC roots (Ready the statement of Faith, and the Pastor's Bio, not sure if it is still UPC).
And it is one that is definintely taking a step in the right direction, IMO.

WF is still UPC, isn't he?
Baptismal statement seems pretty traditional. Salvaton and HG statement ????

I checked on the UPCI church locator, and no pastor by that name was listed.
You are right about the salvation and HG statement. Just reading it, I would classify it as your standard one-steppers. However, the "We believe that the remission of sins occurs through water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ." definitively counters that.
I guess that makes them two-steppers? As they don't state that the HG is a necessity, just that it is available to all.

This is a new church plant ... it would not be on the locator right away.
WF was/is part of the Youth Division ... he's gone back home to NY.

Re: Is this one of those RELEVANT CHURCHES?
WF is still with the UPCI. If by "relevant" you mean a church that will try to express Christ in a modern way...then I think yes. If you mean "relevant" as in...all roads lead to heaven....then no.

Re: Is this one of those RELEVANT CHURCHES?
Dan,
The first thing you don't do when you first meet someone for the first time to witness to is craming tongues and doctrine down their throat. I think even conservatives would agree with that and I think the same thing applies with the website approach. The Website for some, is more of an advertisement of their church.
To imply that that he is a one stepper because of his website is a stretch
