Our Alltime Favorite Christmas Movie

Every year Ashley and I watch "All I Want for Christmas" during the holidays. If you haven't seen it, run out and rent it. It's my favorite and I pretty much know the dialog by heart. It's rated G, but there is one scene in an art gallery with a nude painting, so you might not want little kids to see it.

My other fave holiday movie is "Serendipity", which we also watch every Christmas, but we've been watching the other one since Ashley was a little girl.

Re: Our Alltime Favorite Christmas Movie

Our all time family movie that we have a tradition to watch every Christmas with Rev Randy and Revs Honey was Chevy Chase Christmas Vacation-

Well last year we replaced with Jack Blacks Nacho Libre!

Our families love to repeat the lines we know! We have a blast!

A Christmas Carol with Alistair Sims from 1951 still moves me!

That is a classic.

On the kids side, we watch home alone & the Grinch who stole Christmas!

Re: Our Alltime Favorite Christmas Movie

Some favorites here:

It's A Wonderful Life
The Bishop's Wife
Miracle on 34th Street (with Natalie Wood)
Chevy Chase Christmas Vacation
A Christmas Story (We call it "you'll shoot your eye out")
Christmas in Connecticut
Holiday Inn
The Holly and the Ivy
Annabel's Wish

I like A Christmas Carol. When the kids were small we watched the cartoon version with Mr. Magoo. We also watched Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph and A Charlie Brown Christmas
