Please pray for my granddaughter, Olivia!

I covet your prayers for my 18 month old granddaughter, Olivia Abrahams. This past Saturday when she was over at my house to play with "Pop" (that's me), I noticed that she had several pretty good sized bruises on her legs, a couple on her arms and a small on her left temple. I asked my daughter what had happened and she said nothing that should have caused all the bruising. She then took off Olivia's tennis shoes and everywhere that the shoes were secured on her foot there was a bruise. I told her that she had to take the baby to the doctor as early as she could get an appointment.

She was able to get an appointment for yesterday afternoon and they discovered that her platelet count is down to 47,000 when it should be between 250,000 and 350,000. We are believing that it is just a viral infection that is causing the problem but as some of you may know this could be the indication of a much more serious condition. Either way, right now she is at risk because if she is injured in any way her blood will not clot and she could hemorrhage internally even if there is no external bleeding.

I think Olivia is due for a follow up with the doctor on Thursday (I am not sure if that is this week or next) but I know that Dr. Jesus can make a house call today and confound the other doctors on Thursday, which ever it is.

Please pray for a miracle that HE might be glorified!

Bro. Phil,

From one grand parent's heart to another...I read this request and after posting this I am going to my prayer closet. I will lift Olivia up before Jesus as I would and have my grandchildren.

Jesus, as we all know loves the children, and His heart is that she be healed.

Praying now.

In God's grip, Rhoni
