President Bush Admits "Biggest Mistake"

He and his advisors have made plenty! However, I believe history will be kind to him.

Admittedly, his biggest mistake was going to war with Iraq on faulty intelligence.

I am glad he is owning up to this. I respect him a little more because of it.

I am not sure that will ever happen.

It would be great to read one day that he becomes a "Heaven bound believer in the power of Jesus Name!"

That's if he isn't one already.

I'm just sayin....

I thought this thread would have generated more action than this.

However, the ramifications of his statement is very uncomfortable even for me. So I understand the lack of action.

It's easier to look the other way.

Bill Clinton went to a UPC church.

Alexandria louisiana in fact.

The Pentecostals of Alexandria, Pastor Anthony Mangun.
My pastor sat 3 seats from Clinton.
He's close friends with Bro Mangun.

I think it's strange how so many of us were trying to help blind ideologues see Bush's mistake regarding Iraq and they vehemently defended the war, the cover-ups, etc....and now Bush is owning up to it? Wow.

thought he said faulty intelligence? So had the intelligence not been faulty? and in truth we will never know. Have you all forgotten the chaos surrounding 911? If we had been in his shoes do we really know how we would have acted and he didn't soley act alone.

Melody, in all fairness there were dissenting voices to the course of action or to the timeliness of an invasion of Iraq at the expense of our operations in Afghanistan (which was the actual response to 9/11). I really don't see many credible people questioning the necessity of our operations in Afghanistan and in Somalia and anywhere else that was a direct response to 9/11.

Re: President Bush Admits "Biggest Mistake"

I think SH got rid of any WMD he may have had, long before we got there. I really don't think he had a lot, but I think he had some. But I do think the world may be better off without him, his sons, and his regime. I just hope our troops get out of there soon.
