What would Steve Epley do?
Tonight I have been invited to do a scripture reading at a community wide ecumenical gathering at a Catholic church.
Should I disregard the spirit of thanksgiving text that they would want me to read and go right to Acts 2:38, telling myself this might be the only time that such a large and diverse group here it's important message? Or should I go on comprimising my beliefs and participate with the Whore Church.
What would Steve Do? What should I do?

And the Baptist Bible. and the Methodist Bible. And the Lutheran Bible. And.................................

Re: What would Steve Epley do?
Steve Epley would fast & pray before reading the requested scripture.
Then he would do as requested, praying that God would use the anointing in his voice to spark a real hunger for the Lord in someone who is not interested in religion only.
That is what he would do, I bet.
That is what I would do, for sure.
You could just ask him, ya know!

Re: What would Steve Epley do?
We have the reputation of being a church group that tries to convert other church group members over trying to convert rank sinners part of any church group.

- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?

Elder Epley, if asked, would speak from a heart of love, the word of love
