Urgent prayer request for my grandma
My grandma (age 96) was being moved by paramedics from the nursing home to the hospital. She has pneumonia. In moving her, they dropped the gurney, and hit her head on the concrete. She has a knot half the size of a baseball on her head, and has a cerebral hemorrhage .... Please pray..........
*Update-3pm-- Neurologist just came in again. Her speech has been slurred due to the swelling on the brain. He said that IF they can get the swelling down, that he believes the speech will be corrected. She is screaming in pain, and pain meds aren't helping at this point. Continued prayer greatly appreciated.
Nov 27 10:30 am update: Grandma's speech is less slurred this morning, giving the neurologist reason to believe that the swelling in her brain may be beginning to go down a little... Continued prayer greatly appreciated.......
Nov 29 - 9:30 pm update: Once again, God has heard and answered our prayers.
The doctors have agreed today that there has been so much improvement in Grandma's condition-- that if she continues to progress as she has been, she will be released from the hospital on Monday afternoon and returned to her suite at the "manor" where she resides.
