second Hard drive question

I just built a new rig with WinXP Pro.

To get my old files I took my old HD with WinXP Home and installed it as second drive. I then tried to access mydocuments and it won't let me. I am assuming it's "locked" like as if I had other people on this pc with their accounts and I can't access it without their password.

Any suggestions?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Call a plumber.

Sorry, I don't have a clue.

Re: second Hard drive question

If I were you, I would have saved all my documents from the Home edition on a flash drive. I would have then loaded the pro and deleted the home before I tried to reload those documents. So maybe, if you able to transfer those documents to a flash, do that and then delete all of the home edition.

No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?

Hey Prax...

You'll need to take ownership of the folders. Right click on the folder and select Sharing & Security on the drop down menu...then select the Security tab...then click the Advanced button. Next select the Owner tab and select your name...make sure to check the Replace owner on sub containers box...then click OK. Select Yes when prompted. That should allow you to open the files and folders.

would not fit on a flash drive...I got it fixed anyways. Found the answer on a tech board

Yes ,that is what I did. Some one on a tech board gave me the MS link. I am happy to have learned this trick :-)

But you are 100% right there. It worked great
