Jennifer needs a miracle

Here is my friends friend story…

Her name is Jennifer and she is in her early 30’s I believe. Jeff has known her and her family for about 15 years however I have only known her for about 6 months and just recently met her mother. Jennifer has 3 children 18yrs and twins that are 8 yrs old. Shortly after her twins were born she began to have serious health problems. I may be a little off on timing and I do not know exact details…but she became very weak and lost a lot of weight. She was living with her husband in North Carolina at the time away from her family and no friends. Her husband worked a lot so she was mostly on her own raising these babies. She went to doctor after doctor, specialist after specialist and no one could diagnose her all the while she was deteriorating and becoming weaker by the moment. Month’s passed by and she soon began to lose feeling in her body…her hand, her arms, her legs and even onto her feet and face after a while. It became so bad that when she had to travel and take the baby twins with her, she had to look at her arms to make sure she had a good grip on the baby carriers to get the back and forth without dropping them. I don’t know how many months went by of this and every time her mother or brother would call her from Texas to see how she was, she never let on how ill she was. One day her mother called and could hear something very wrong in Jennifer’s voice. A mother’s love told her that her daughter needed her desperately. Judy, her mom, jumped on the next flight out to North Carolina. When she arrived at Jennifer’s home, Jennifer could barely walk. Thank God for Jennifer’s older son probably 10 or 11 at the time. He was the one getting the babies up, fed and dressed before he had to go to school. He bathed them at night and put them to bed because Jennifer was too weak to climb the stairs in their home. Judy rented a car and drove Jennifer and the kids back to Houston. She spent (I think) several weeks in the hospital having tests after tests run on her. Her health continued to decline. Finally they found a neurologist that discovered that the nerves in her body would swell up and cause extreme pain and then die until most of her nervous system started shutting down. This is apparently what caused her to lose most of her feeling in her body. They gave her 6 month’s to live. It was Jennifer’s faith in God that kept her alive and capable of going on day to day. She has a heart for God bigger than I have ever seen! She is still going on today with only about 5% feeling in her body. She will tell you it is only her faith and the strength that God has given her that she is capable of taking every step, being able to take care of her children now that she is a single parent and even to feed herself. She is totally dependant on the Lord but is discouraged on how much longer she can keep this up. It has been 8 years of pain and suffering and her health is only part of the battles she has had to face.

This is a great family who has been coming to our bible studies and is diligently seeking God. This morning as I was getting ready for today, God placed her on my heart! I believe not only that she can be healed but I believe God has great things for her! Please keep her in your prayers and let me know if you think you can make it this Saturday for a time of great prayer!

Re: Jennifer needs a miracle

Esther, I will start praying for Jennifer right now, and will continue to pray for her.

May the Lord God touch this precious little mother and her family, in Jesus Name!
It is the enemey's desire to separate us from our support system, the family and
the church. May God give her enough grace and power to overcome all the wiles
of the evil one, in Jesus Name!

Hugs,

Will keep this mother and children in prayer. Bless her heart. All prayer requests tug at my heart but this post yanked my heartstrings. Please let this woman know people are lifting her up and crying out to our Father for His grace and mercies to fall on her. Keep us posted please. Thank you.

My friend called a special prayer meeting today for this dear sister. It pulled at my heart strings to imagine anyone going through such a trial.
