Does anyone know a children's evangelist who would do summer camps that would emphasize the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, but would go to non-UPC functions? We have always taken our kids somewhere else, but it's getting so big and so expensive to rent a big bus, that we're going to do our own camp this year. We definitely do not just want a fun time kids' camp; we want the power of God! We are kind of clueless who does this kind of ministry. Any suggestions?
The King's Clown is good but I don't know if he will go to non- UPC events are not. Don't know why he wouldn't. I think his name is Squire ???
Someone else probably knows who I am talking about and can give you more information.

Lloyd Squires. Not sure if he would attend non-UPC events, but if he does, he's great.
Yes, that is who I was trying to think of his name.

The King’s Clown, aka Lloyd Squires has a passion for children that began when he came to the Lord in 1975. His God given ministry as a clown started with Sunday school and birthday parties and has grown and developed into the ministry he has today.
As a full time evangelist, Bro. Squires holds children’s/family crusades, speaks at conferences, conducts teacher training workshops, entertains at banquets and carnivals and assists wherever he’s needed. God has blessed him with a servant’s heart and he has been known to vacuum floors and wait tables.
Services with Bro. Squires are varied, exciting and surprising! He clowns, sings, plays musical instruments, performs audience participatory Bible stories and skits in ways you have never imagined, taking his audience from the heights of laughter to the deepest soul searching times at the altar. His ultimate goal is to help children touch God and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
He and his wife Karen were married in 1973, received the Holy Ghost in 1975 and began working in Children’s Church shortly thereafter. Bro. Squires attended Gateway College of Evangelism, worked on bus routes and with puppets before being called to Tupelo Children’s Mansion in 1981. His work there began in the computer department, but their love for children soon had them living in a dormitory as house parents for the little boys. During those years the Squires adopted their 2 children, Miguel and Emily. After several years working for TCM, Bro. Squires accepted a position as Assistant to Bro. Stephen Drury, Pastor or Abundant Life Tabernacle, the church on TCM’s campus. In that capacity, a Boy Scout troop was started with Bro. Squires serving as Scoutmaster.
Through these years God had been shaping and molding him for another purpose and in 1989 the life of an evangelist began. Since then thousands of children have received the Holy Ghost until now, second and third generations of families are responding to the Lord through the ministry of the King’s Clown.

When I go to his website, none of it is working except the one page that is listed above. No contact info or anything.
Does anyone think he would go outside of UPC?
Children's evangelists are HARD to find!!
Sherri, I don't know currently but 5 years ago--when I did know--he was pretty much THE premier UPC children's evang....like the major "endorsed one"--if that is the same, I would doubt he would do a non-upc (apostolic) camp.
But who knows--he might.
I also remember that his wife and kids were pretty involved with his thing--so there again may be a reason for him to stay within the circle...

I have seen so many lies posted. The best one is the one Triumphant 1 did his best to combat. You know, the hair cutting party thing?
Prominent members of this board chose to believe the lie and even continue to spread it, even though T1 had totally proved it was false.
