Read this the other day.

I bet she's the ONLY politician that has every done this before.

Have the done the same investigating on Biden, McCain and Obama's travel records?

Re: RNC Spends BIG Money for Gov Palins clothes...

Well it's clear that no laws we're broken in these cases. She had the legal right to do what she did.

I think the bigger question is why did she feel the need to amend reports? That shows at best a concern over it and at worst guilt over what she did. She went back and added "First Family particapated/invited" when the organizers of the events said they weren't. 5 days and 4 nights in a luxury hotel for a 5 hour conference seems very exhorborant.

This slogan of "Maverick" and reformer talk rings hollow with Sarah Palin just like it does with other major politicians of both parties. When it's on the tax payer's dime, the majority of politicians aren't concerned with spending our money wisely. That obviously includes Sarah Palin. Call me anything but shocked, however.

The issue of her families travel isn't an issue of the Presidential election. That concerned her time as Governor of Alaska. It was paid for by the tax payers of Alaska not by the RNC or some political hack donating money to a campaign.

I'm not sure why the admin decided too merge these two threads because they are completely different topics.

Petty unless you're an Alaskan tax payer who paid over $20K for her family to fly to events that they were no part of. What would be wrong with a politician paying for their personal expenses out of their personal funds like you and I do?

Especially with a "reformer" and "Maverick".

HaHa! It sounds a bit desperate when you start throwing out the "decent christian woman" defense and completely ignore the fact that she wasted over $20K of Alaskan tax dollars. She felt the need to amend travel reports for some reason.

No one's questoning her Christianity, just her use of state tax payer dollars.
