POST EM
Cinci over Jets (Brett Farve picked 2 times)

Houston over Miami (Miami is a much improved team but Houston is better than their record. We should have beat the Colts for sure and the Jaguars)

Chicago over Atlanta (Rookie quarterback is good but not ready for Chi's defense)

Minnesota over Detroit (no additional comment needed)

Carolina over Tampa Bay

Baltimore over Indianapolis (Colts look very shaky this year. Raven's defense is good as usual and the offense is surprisingly not as bad as I would have thought)

NO over Oakland

Pit over Washington (Close call but Washington is in a brutal stretch that has to take a toll at some point)

Jacksonville over Denver (250 rushing yards)

GB over Seattle (by alot)

Dallas over Arizona (also by alot)

PHI over SF

SD over NE (I still think that the old hoody should have taken a gander at a few of the available quarterbacks)

Re: NFL Week 6 Pickem

True that... but there is no need to mess with the system just because your QB is on break.

I think Denver wins because Cuttler just keeps getting better and better. Granted their D is shacky but they can pull the W if they out score them.

I think NO loses to Oakland simply because NO is coming off a Monday night game, in which they were exhausted and still lost.

Baltimore hardly ever wins in INDY

Miami beats Houston because they have a completely healthy team, they look good and have had only one IR all season (which BTW was added today)

Favre doesn't have to win the game... Jets win because Cincinnati is doing horribly this year...

Re: NFL Week 6 Pickem

I missed four so far!

I also noticed I put Washington against Pittsburgh... which isn't the schedule odd I don't know how I got that... it was ST. Louis in which Washington lost... putting the New York Football Giants further ahead of the league....

I was right on the number of interceptions but I overestimated the ability and pride of the Cinci offense.

Houston almost found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of vistory again. It was unbelieveable. If we would have lost that one I would have started thinking 0-16 because that would have deflated everybody.
Chicago over Atlanta (Rookie quarterback is good but not ready for Chi's defense)
Ryan is much more composed that I gave him credit for. He passed a huge test. I missed this one by a last minute field goal.
Minnesota over Detroit (no additional comment needed)

Carolina over Tampa Bay
I thought Carolina would show up more.
Baltimore over Indianapolis (Colts look very shaky this year. Raven's defense is good as usual and the offense is surprisingly not as bad as I would have thought)
This is the first game where the Colts looked like the Colts.
NO over Oakland
Next
Pit over Washington (Close call but Washington is in a brutal stretch that has to take a toll at some point)
I didn't catch the mistype earlier, but I will just say that the Skins have been in a tough stretch of games. They needed to win this cupcake game.
Jacksonville over Denver (250 rushing yards)

GB over Seattle (by alot)

Dallas over Arizona (also by alot)
That was a crazy finish. Dallas' charcter issues may start becoming an issue. Is Wade Phillips a big enough presence to control his players and their off and on the field presences?
PHI over SF

SD over NE (I still think that the old hoody should have taken a gander at a few of the available quarterbacks)
I still can't believe they didn't bring in another decent quarterback after Brady went out. I heard that they went as far as having two quarterbacks fly in just to turn them around once they got to the airport.
Interesting week with a lot of close games

This year has em... this was my worst week of pickems... Mainly because teams this year just don't seem to be playing 60 minutes..... Bears lost, that was my upset of the week, at least Ryan looked killer... Did you read the Brady comparisons?

I am mad Miami lost after making me spill my tea with that freaken awesome option/ fake/ super play of the week

Yeah, who would have thought that the Tuna would go to Miami and they would start running a wide open, wild-hog, college, gimicky offense. They have completely caught me off guard. Not just because they are winning so soon , but because of how they are playing.

Yeah, if Ryan continues to play the way he has, he will be one of the biggest rookie quarterback stories ever. The city of Atlanta had to have this. He is already the new poster boy on all the billboards. This will help them put the whole Vick thing behind them.
