I heard on the radio that a Bank in Belgium folded & a Bank in England was nationalized!

Perilous times indeed!

Set your DVR's and VCR's because history is going to be made by the close of business today. This will be the ugliest financial crash of my lifetime.

OMG!!!! I predict by next month we won't even remember this. I will not be setting my DVR. Just because a few banks are in trouble. I am so glad this didn't pass.

Can the economy expand forever? Are we headed to socialism in America? 133 republicans voted against this bill. How will this bailout affect the elections?

You know Ron, I heard a sermon yesterday about perilous times in the last days. But then the hope that we have been promised. In that God will pour out of His Spirit on all flesh. We must hold on to that promise, and no matter what man does, we have that peace that passeth all understanding.

Amen! Things for the Church are always looking up!
I am not so sure for the world that things will be so rosy!

Does anyone not remember the savings and loan failure in the 1980s and the dot com bubble eight years ago? These things happen. You want affordable housing let the market determine prices not government loans to people who can't afford them.

I just heard that Pelosi didn't include the House Republicans in the final negotiations and that's why the House wouldn't go for it. Then she accused them of being unpatriotic!
