Holy Greetings to all the Children of God

I would like to extend Holy Greetings from The Church of The Lord Jesus Christ of The Apostolic Faith of Des Arc Arkansas.

I learned of your forum through reading of the Passing of Elvin Ervin the son of my Pastor, Bishop Herbert Ervin of Flint Michigan whom I love dearly. I shall try to post from time to time with any news of this wonderful Salvation being spread among all nations for the deliverance from all sin to all men.

If any reading this missive happen to be in the central Arkansas area for any reason, we do extend an invitation to you to drop in and visit us in Des Arc. 807 Calhoun St. we are not hard to locate in a population of 1700 where God has called many to this great plan of Salvation. please pray for our one soul who is seeking for the wonderful Holy Ghost at this present time.

May the Peace of our Lord and savior Jesus the Christ keep and preserve all who read this missive until His Glorious appearing and welcome you into eternal Life which He purchased for you with His Holy and Precious Blood.

Bishop L L Godair, Pastor and general Overseer . Des Arc Arkansas

Re: Holy Greetings to all the Children of God

Praise the Lord Sister Alvear,
I remember visiting Elder Taylors assembly in Jacksonville back around 1978-79 before he moved to Jonesville LA. do you know him? we are growing very well considering Des Arc is only around 1700 population. last time I recall counting heads we numbered 42 , so I thank the Lord for every Soul.
I would like to thank all the Saints who replied to my Greetings. your kindness refreshes me greatly.
Peace be unto you all in Jesus Name, Bishop L L Godair

Re: Holy Greetings to all the Children of God

Praise the Lord Brother Sam, ie. Brother Jim Ellis, I was happy to hear from you brother, about the time you Obeyed the Gospel I had just returned from the Korean war, and had never heard anything about Jesus, went on to Berlin Germany in 58 to face off the Russians until they gave in on the push us out of Berlin doctrine and began to build the Berlin wall which actually ran the length of the line seperating East and West germany.

It was at the close of that tour that I received a letter from my aged father saying son I have finally heard truth after all these years of being dissapointed by these fakers who rob you and skip town with everyones money or someones wife or daughter.

Needless to say I was somewhat surprised , as my father was 70 years old and had never joined himself to any group or church. but to make a long story short, I got out of the service and found that my dad had been baptized in Jesus Name and was filled with the Holy Ghost and was the first time in my life I had seen him without his tobacca pipe in his mouth. that was in oct. 1961, I was Baptized and filled with the Goly Ghost in April 1967. and it is even more wonderful today, Praise His Holy name.

Peace be unto all the Children of God everywhere.
