What LABOR are you resting from today?
Today is compared to the 7th day of creation where God rested from all his works. As we take a break in our busy-ness; I thought it would be good to tell each other what/how we spend our workdays:
My work day begins at 5 o a.m. I leave the house between 6a.m - 6:15 a.m. and try to get to work by 7:30 a.m. After the long trek to work, I sit in front of a computer and telephone all day taking calls from Substance Abuse providers, authorizing treatment through assessment and making a judgment call as to what level of care a member should be in. There are many glitches in our computer program for the State of Kansas which puts me in a position to work with the State employees to fix computer problems for providers and other clinical care managers. At 10:30 a.m. we have a group meeting and through teleconference bench levels of care with our Psychiatrist/Medical Director. I leave between 4-4:30 pm and start the trek home.
It is good to sleep in an extra couple hours and I am going to aqua areobics to begin my R & R as I celebrate Labor Day and the Job God has blessed me with.
Have a Happy Labor-free day with Family and Friends.
Blessings, Rhoni

LOL I'm with YOU Miss B. Since I'm the Church Administrator I'm "on call" 24/7 pretty much. My office hours are T- Th 9 - 4 but I'm usually there at LEAST one extra day during the week.
TODAY? Well, today, I'm doing laundry and cleaning out closets. Since my August was a blur of activity today is technically "catch up" day! So, I'm actually LABORING on Labor Day!
Everyone have a relaxing day and let's get ready for THE BIG HOLIDAYS!! THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS!

Taking a break from engineering engine components.
I'm going to fix the dishwasher, clean house, do some accounting work, and then play in the backyard on the swingset with the kids.

OP, I spent 15 years in the automotive welding systems field. Are you in Michigan? Or do you work on engines other than automotive?
