Not sure how I feel about contacting Hallmark, but some of you may desire to. The gay thing sure is becoming mainstream.

Hallmark is reinforcing their decision to carry gay marriage cards with a message to supporters of traditional marriage – buzz off!

According to their website, corporate emails, and in response to phone calls, Hallmark is telling those who contact the company it will carry “cards that use specific language and images appropriate for same-sex wedding ceremonies.”

Same sex marriage is not recognized in 48 states, but Hallmark has chosen to become a corporate advocate in advancing homosexual marriage.

However, some local Hallmark store owners are refusing to carry them. Earlier this week, Jordan's Hallmark, which owns seven Hallmark Gold Crown stores in Idaho, announced its stores will not carry gay marriage cards in their stores.

There are plenty of wedding cards that could be used for same sex already - doesn't have to be specific for them.. That's just nuts!

Wow I guess hallmark isn't as wholesome, family value supporting as I thought it was.

I'm convinced that if Obama becomes President, same-sex "marriage" will be the law of the land before the end of his first term.

Then again, even if McCain wins, it will probably happen too.

it's not only Hallmark, but lots and lots of people are compromising. Once it starts it's downhill from there.

That's fine but not all Hallmark stores will carry the cards. Many/most are not corporate owned. They are owned by individuals. They have say in what they will carry.

I've already seen same sex cards on the shelves earlier this year, but I don't know who the manufacturers were. Sadly, I wasn't too surprised.
