Democratic Convention....what a non-event!

I wonder if I'm the only one to yawn at this pathetic attempt to put a dress on the pig of liberal ideology? They can't really get America to buy into their wacko principles so the only mantra that they think will work is "change."

This whole thing is such a non-vent I am stunned. Biden was a lack luster choice and now the convention's viewing is at an all time low. They've spent millions and no one is watching! What a hoot! I guess they haven't and won't figure out that the majority of America does NOT buy into the liberal/communistic ideology.

I found it funny that they are now filling their convention with gospel music, etc to try and act like they are Christian friendly when their pro abortion, pro gay marriage, etc positions all are against Biblical principles.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I understand that James Carville was saying the same thing last night!

Re: Democratic Convention....what a non-event!

I am really enjoying it. I read that viewership is higher than 2004. You might want to do some research prior to posting. Just because a person doesn't live a true Christian life doesn't mean they can't enjoy Gospel music. Would you prefer they not play it and turn completely away from God? As an African American I feel that Obama is an answer to a prayer. Someone has to be president and I sure hope you don't think McCain is pure and Holy.
