If the election were today, who do you predict would be the winner?

Re: If elecs were today, who do you predict would
Not to start a conflict here, but why is assasination mentioned as a possiblity in connection with Senator Obama but not for McCain?
And vice versa the natural causes thing. I don't ask that to create conflict, but secretly I have that fear in the back of my mind as well, that the Senator may indeed be the target of assasination attempts. And here's the HORRIBLE part! (As if there could be something more horrible than assasination) BUT I would almost be willing to bet that if Hillary Clinton WERE his running partner, that there WOULD be an assasination or at least an attempt.
Evidently just by the way that question on the poll is worded I am NOT the only one either consciously or subconsciously thinking that the Senator is in more jeapordy for his life than the other candidates.

Actually, after I posted the poll, I remembered that I wanted HRC to be one of the options. I find it within the realm of the possible that she has sufficient convention shenanigans up her sleeve to unseat the nomination of BHO without harming a hair on his head. But I couldn't remember by the time I got to #7, so I threw in Ralph Nader as an afterthought. Kind of like ol' Ralph does himself . . . .
I realize that it is disconcerting, especially as a Christian, to discuss in such a sterile manner the possible murder of another human being. Such discomfort does you credit, but please rest assured that you are not alone in this world for deducing that BHO is at greater than average risk for assassination, nor for evaluating the public record of the staunch, take-no-prisoners-politics - of personal destruction - practiced by the hardened feminist HRC, and determining that it would not be incompatible with our estimation of her character to imagine her to be, as vice-president, a danger to the president. I have spoken to many, many people who believe her capable of plotting foul play. Her picture is in the dictionary next to the definition of narcissism. Any person, protocol, or process that stands between HRC and absolute power is merely a trivial detail that will be mown down in the sweeping tide of fated eventuality.

Gravel will win in a write-in landslide, his supporters having disguised themselves for months by pretending to support the other politicians.

I think you're right. There are just so many deaths of people associated with the Clintons.

I think (but hope I'm wrong) the Democrats will win this one.
We've had 8 years of a Republican president, and anything that people are unhappy with is blamed on Dubya, so people will vote against the candidate of Dubya's party.

Another thought.
Many "racists" will vote against Obama because he is black.
Many "racists" will vote for Obama because he is black.
In my opinion, any vote for or against him based on color is equally racist and equally wrong.
