Is it that we're focused on entertainment? Or that our brains are so overloaded with exciting media all the time that our minds don't even sit up and take notice unless there's bright flashes and emotionally charged music going along with whatever else it taking place at the same time????
I think we've raised a generation of kids whose attention we do have to "grab" or they aren't going to hear a word we have to say. IMO, we can either wish fondly for the good old days when a droning lecture commanded attention, or we can get with the program and do whatever it takes to get our message across. Probably a good middle ground in there somewhere, too, but I dont' have time to dig any deeper. See ya'll tomorrow!!!!
