Anthony Mangun

Gang, I have spent the last three hours or so listening and watching some services from the church Anthony Mangun pastors. This isn't the first time I've listened or watched any of their services, but this is the first time I've paid close attention to what was being said, how it was being said and presented, and listened for certain things I listen for when a man preaches. I have to admit, and my wife agrees; theirs is a Spirit filled church.

I watch videos of different churches fairly regularly. Generally what is going on during their worship services either becomes entertainment for me or I get bored with it. I felt such an honest spirit of worship flowing through their sanctuary, even though I wasn't actually there for the sevices. Brother Mangun has such a burden for people! I could feel it flowing out of him as he preached. If I ever go back to a traditional church, that's the kind of worship and preaching I want. Listening to him made me want to pray right along with them. Watching their worship brought tears to my eyes. Them people in Alexandria got it goin on!

Amen!

I certainly don't mind him being my Pastor.

Re: Anthony Mangun

RICO you are absolutely correct. Pastor Anthony's burden for people can be rivaled by no one. What I like about Him and his church is the fact they are willing to try and change their methods of doing things even if it means they get blasted for it. However, the results they have seen through their prayer and burden is awesome.

Re: Anthony Mangun

I've never watched their services, but I have heard Bro. Mangun speak a few times and no doubt about it, his burden for souls, and his ability to lead etc., seem very strong.

I will never forget a message he preached: The cost of being a Savior...awesome stirring message.

Re: Anthony Mangun

I am not saying this to be critical of others, but I wonder why we don't have more pastors like Brother Mangun.
