Do you know this song?

Old old song.......

chorus:

C G
I love him too much to fail him now,
G7 C
Too much to break my vow,
C7 F dm
For I promised the Lord that I would make some how,
C G G7 C
I love too much to fail him now.

Anyone know the verses, chord changes?

The years have brought us closer,
My love for him has grown.
Each step has brought me nearer
To my eternal home.
I'm just to close to heaven to turn back now.
I know his grace will be sufficient,
I'm gonna make it somehow.

Re: Do you know this song?

LW is Lanny Wolfe My Pastor's wife sings that song.
I think it is in a PPH songbook.

Re: Do you know this song?

I did a google search of "I Love Him Too Much to Fail Him Now" and this site came up:

http://www.gospelmusicnet.com/page4_html/

I don't have RealPlayer installed so I could not listen to clips...Not sure if this violates copyright laws. Admins, remove this link, if necessary.

A link to Amazon.com also came up with a link to sheet music by Lanny Wolfe, but it is "Currently Unavailable and Do Not Know When This Will Be Back in Stock"

Another verse is:

I told Him I loved Him. It was easy to say, but harder to prove it when temptations came my way.
What good are broken promises? I counted them but loss. When I caught a glimpse of true love, hanging on that Old Rugged Cross.

I think the above is the first verse and Rhoni's verse is the second verse.
