This is more evidence, not of the party we both care for, but of a man whose character seems to be lacking in many ways.
He is not a representative of the party.

Here is my problem with your view. One of the MAJOR issues I have with Obama is the abject lack of experience and substance. He has celebrity status for what? He reads a mean speech? THAT IS an issue.
It ought to be addressed by McCain.
When Obama says things like "I dont have a problem with the price of gas, I just wish it hadnt gotten here this fast" That IS an issue and needs to be directly addressed by McCain.
When Obama says he opposes the "scheme" (his actual word) of drilling for more oil. That IS an issue and needs to be directly challenged by McCain.
When Obama plays the race card, by saying McCain and the republicans are giong to play the race card, that IS an issue and needs to be directly challenged by McCain.
The issues and the candidates cannot be seperated.
Now if McCain comes out and decides to run an add suggesting Barak Obama is a muslim who wants to let Bin Ladin set up shop in the white house, then we have a problem Mud slinging is false attacks. It isnt a direct, actual confrontation of reallity.
What McCain is starting to do is deal with Barak Obama in reality.
i AM FOR THAT.
