Re: Any keyboard players here?

I am amazed at how technology has brought the price of these music keyboards down. What used to cost a couple of thousand can now be bought at SAMS club for a few hundred.
If you buy one that sounds good to you and you like the feel of the keys, go for it.

I DO lament the fact that it is very hard to find classic synthesizers now -the kind were you are able to make your own patches for it. I was once a master at programming my Casio CZ-5000.

Why don't you get a REAL piano?

I rarely if ever play FAKE pianos, so I can't tell you which one is best!

I was just playing with you, bro! I haven't played them, but I hear good things about both the Triton and Motif.

I have a Yamaha 88 key digital keyboard that I use for recording purposes. I've had it for three years!

I've always said that my next keyboard would be a Korg, but I played the Yamaha's about a month ago at the music store, and I was impressed with them. From the most expensive to the cheapest the keyboards all had a nice little click when you pushed them down like the Korg Triton does. I like the feel of their weighted keys. Weighted keys that I've played befor have felt a little slugish.
