The Implications of Fossip

During my times of perusal through the many threads presented by such an august and astute plethora of saints and aint's, I began to notice a dangerous leaning towards what I call "Fossip" or forum gossip.

Having no doubt been a participant in this type of activity, I do not intend to point fingers at anyone lest I find at least four pointing in reciprocation. Nonetheless, we shall all be judged for every word (written and spoken) at some future day. Perhaps it would do us all well to remember the saying:

I may not be the butterfly I am supposed to be BUT thank God I am not the worm I used to be!

Should we apply the above saying to all we meet, no doubt we would be able to find the good in all and not focus upon our own presuppositions. Excepting of course when one is in obvious divergence from biblical imperatives.

I dont want to be ugly.... Im trying to be more nice..... following peace with all men and such dont ya know...

but here is some friendly advice for ya. You might want to bump that post count up a little before you start telling the rest of us how we should act... at this point, for you, more time spent repairing an already dammaged reputation and less time giving behavior advice might be helpfull....

peace to you and yours!

Apparently you cannot read very well....I guess I should post with pictures...when posting the advice I included me in the group. Now hotshot, why don't you get on your camel named clyde and get a Hershey bar while listening to the radio and drink a pineapple sherbert!

Since you already do not like me nor my advice, let me add a tag line to your picture more fitting.

More Flatulant and Cavalier (It seems befitting does it not?)

and I did notice you included you in your advice.... doesnt change things one bit. in my honest opinion.... but you will find that opinios are as many and varried as there are posters around here, and some of us have more than one on every subject....

ergo....

i will stand by the advice ive given you. which was done on my part in a spirit of peace.

I (the raven) am for peace but when I speak they (Ferd) are for war....sounds like our relationship....

Raven, one thing you have to understand about many of the people here at AFF: We've been posting to each other for years and have a history. You're still pretty much a newbie around here, and it takes time for people to get to know you and all that. Starting this thread, while maybe a good idea in your mind, is going to generate a negative reaction from many of the seasoned posters. You just don't know us all that well yet. Maybe it shouldn't be this way, but it is.

Now look here Rico, we can agree on some things!

I will say...being mean to Ferd is not the way to get on anyone's good side.
