Re: Have You Ever Had a Christian Enemy?
Yes, I have. A false prophet visited our church where I was a staff member. I stood up to his manipulations and spiritual abuse and he made me a public and private target. The head board member and his family publicly and privately slandered me and my wife and bore false witness against me and succeeded in getting me fired as associate pastor. It didn't help much that I was vindicated a year later, I didn't get my job back. I considered the guy who fired me my enemy too for awhile since he was spreading the slander by using it as the basis for my dismissal. He apologized later, but the damage had been done (and still remains). Other stuff has happened too since then but that'll suffice I guess.
I love 'em all. But I don't trust 'em.
