Ok, you guys have fought us and tried to back us into a corner regarding the reason as to why we don't watch TV, and our conviction against it. You always want to know WHY we don't watch it, WHY we don't have one, SCRIPTURE as to why we do... So now, I want to know, WHY? Why do you have one? Where is the scripture that says you can? Where is the foundation for your argument saying that you should be able to watch it?

The only discussion I've seen on this forum concerning television is how ludicrous it is that some folks will put you in hell for having a television in your home, but those same people surf the internet regularly!

I have a TV because having a TV amuses me. To my knowledge there is no scripture either for OR against TV. However, even if there were, it wouldn't make a lick of difference, as I believe most scripture to be written by men, and must be viewed through the filters of culture, history, etc.
