Pray for Momma and Me
I know I said I would not come back to AFF, but I need some prayer. Today the district contacted me to go home, that my Mom was sick. I rushed home, to find her slumped over in the chair by my computer. She refused to go in an ambulance, so I took her by car to Memorial Hospital in 1960 here in Houston. There was no damamge to her heart, but she is weak, short of breath, and very pale.
She is taking a chemical stress test tomorrow to see if the problem is her heart or the arteries surrounding the heart. AFF, please pray. Regardless of how you feel about me, please pray. I lost Dad in December, a friend on Monday, and now Mom is in the hospital.

This is an update on what has happened...
Mom is back at work. I took her to the doctor this afternoon, and she was told that she had a good heart and no damage to the heart or vascular system. Praise God.
She was told that she should not have survived in the hospital, that the stroke should have killed her. But, I had a family on their knees all over the world, and The Father working a great work.
She does have a tumor in a gland which is part of her right kidney, and the doctor believes it is benign (oh, than You Lord... I could not go through that again... than You sweet Jesus). We are waiting for the final test results, and it will be benign. If so, they have meds which will shrink and possibly eliminate the tumor.
Please keep us both in prayer. The battle is so close to finished, and in all things, Christ will get the victory!
