Eddie was interviewed for two hours this morning on a radio talk show. He did such a great job! Then at noon we had a city wide prayer meeting at our church with 13 churches participating. Since we were hosting it, we had our P & W leader & band, 12 of our men getting up and leading prayer. It was awesome! Next month will be at a different church.
On the 5 o'clock news a few minutes ago, they had the service on there and they interviewed Eddie out in the hall, so he was on the news tonight too. The city and county mayor both attended the service. The presence of God was so powerful there and I was so proud of our men who got up and led it!
It is always good to have your church in the news without something bad happening. It seems like they usually wait for something seedy to happen before they want to talk about churches. Good to hear this report.

A few weeks ago, a prophet told Eddie, "I don't know what this means, but I hear your voice coming over the radio." He had never been on the radio before, so we were just kind of like, "ok, whatever." That week, he was contacted by a radio show guy on another station, and then this week, he did this interview. Weird.
He's been on TV for about four years every Sunday, but had never done anything on the radio before. It was like free advertisement!
Someone came to me today when Eddie was being interviewed and said, "Pastor needs you over there to say something to the TV camera." Well, they knew there was NO WAY!!! I'm not doing anything that automatically adds ten pounds onto you. LOL! Actually, they were kidding; Eddie knows I would never say anything publicly on TV. I don't even like to get up front at church.
I heard a preacher sunday talking about "getting his message" and in the course of making notes he said "I was sitting on my laptop working on this sermon" and my first thought was "you aren't supposed to be sitting on those things"...
So how long was he on the radio for?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
Excellent! (at least on radio they can't see that facial hair!)

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
