What is worse...really?

What is worse, for a man to have had a taste of chocolate and the agony to never have it again or...

A man who has been told how good it is but is never able to partake?

I am wondering what is worse, for those who once embraced the fullness of the UPC, culturally, socially, doctrinally, lawfully, philosophically and theologically to have left for whatever reason, now finding those things they once embraced to be non-biblical, illogical, non-applicable, innaccurate, etc.

Or for someone in mainstream religion living a victorious life to never have known the UPC whatsoever??

This all sounds rhetorical, but it appears those who left are lacking in a measure of moderation...except for me of course...

I would only say this forum is not to convince someone to our way of thinking rather to allow an opposing perspective to challenge what we think we hold on to with no compromise. The lack of this perspective is how holy wars and jihads start.

Trying to understand your parallels leaves one wondering if there really is a parallel in what you ask. I can't find it.

If he had chocolate, but found it to actually be spinach in disguise, how then is it agony to never have it again?

If he has never had it but is content with only hearing about it how does this equate to being happy with where he is?

Sure, but now there is an antithesis of GNC and CAF taking hold. I do not like the immature soap-box type posters who believe it is their job and main goal in life to get people angry.

You are adding to my scripture. I never said anything about spinach...and my description was pretty plain...and I never...oh never mind. You passed the exit and your needle is on E.

Okay. Take the spinach out. He ate chocolate. He found out that it wasn't chocolate after all. (Here is where I used spinach.) How is it agony if he discovered it wasn't chocolate if he can't eat it anymore.

That was always my fear back at NFCF with all of the inflamnatory and insulting Coop threads.

Yet those never seemed to run the ultra cons off back then. I wonder what has changed now. I see less of those type threads here than I did at NFCF.

Who said anything about it NOT being Chocolate? Follow the initial premise, or your question/rest of the story is illogical!

My guage is not faulty, and you just filled up with diesel.
