Mice Exterminating

My wife saw a mouse in the bathroom this morning & seeing as we have at least one mouse we would like to get rid of it.

Have you ever had this problem?

What do you recommend?

Poison is good, but they usually crawl into a wall die there and your house stinks
for a few months.

Are glue traps good?

How about the good old mouse trap?

I would use a shotgun, but I would probably be taken down by the Vancouver SWAT team.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

D-Con works without the smell. It dries the mice up from the inside out. I've had to use it before.

Traps are good because the kill em. Glue traps trap em and then you get to kill em.

Shotgun is no good, you will shoot your eye out.

That's for sure, but it will help me with my mouse frustration!

Nope. Had a whole colony of them pesky mice living in the ductwork of this house I rented once. After months of foolin with traps and whatnot, I gave D-Con a try. Wiped 'em out in no time and didn't smell a thing. I did find them dead in several places of the house though.

I didn't notice any stinking... and I even had rats in my basement.. I live in an older house downtown area and when they put my new furnace in, they forgot to cap the chimney... so I had all kinds of things getting into my basement.... any hoo... that poison worked great for me... on rats and mice. I put it everywhere.. they couldn't miss it.. I was scared of my basement for a very long time... the possums had to be killed though... I didn't do it.. lol

Unless you are planning on eating it, yes. The way you know it's starting to work is that you will see green mouse poop. It's only a matter of time then.

Rats & Mice are nasty critters when they get into a house, aside from the mess they make, I won't even mention the heart attack they almost make you have when you meet one unexpectedly in the middle of the night.

Nope, they belong in the great outdoors as part of the food chain for Owls, Eagles, Foxes, etc.
