Starting Library For Acts Program

Im working with the Alcohol Chemical Treatment Series and I am looking for some supplimental material to address issues not directly dealing with addiction like dealing with forgivness and ending damaging relationships and some good motivational books that talk about doing the right things in life in the face of addiction. If any of you guys have any ideas give me a yell.

Well

Hayford has a decent book of forgiveness. Allen Carr has a good book on alcohol -- although he is more known for nicotine addiction. (his books are totally secular)

No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?

Re: :highfiveStarting Library For Acts Program

My husband has taught ACTS several times through the years. He likes the R&R (Release and Refocus) book. The book deals with releasing the past and refocusing. It deals with unforgivingness, shame, etc. My husband used this book a few months ago when he taught ACTS class at my dad's church.
