The Cult of the Personality: When did OT Saints ..

When did OT Saints ... ever worship or revere their prophets in the way ... modern claiming prophets have allowed themselves to be revered like Branahm, Koresh, Jeffs, Smith, De Jesus Miranda, etc?

When were relics of these men ever center stage in the church service? Did generations revere Elijah's mantle in temple worship? Were Jeremiah's tear drop bottled up and sold?

Don't we, and even this mortal men, criticize some in the Roman church for reifying men and women as god-like saints?

Why isn't their a biblical pattern of saved believers committed to a prophet's teachings for generations similar to today's alleged prophets of God? Or is there?

Why is it these men always have a visitation by angels?

Why do their followers focus so much of their energies, lives and finances on these type of men?

If Branham was the seventh angel or the voice of the angel or whatever...who were the other six? And why don't we study their words like Scripture?

Who said he focuses on anyone in particular based on that text ... all the demon ... not Satan stated was that he knew Paul.

That's what the verse in context says.

Dr. V ... you are prooftexting.

One of them was Martin Luther.... he called a Bride out of the Catholic Church.. those who were elected in their day.. heard that call and yes they followed a MAN as he followed Christ

No sir. What we learn was that these men had no ministry, no relationship with Jesus Christ, and no Authority to use His name.
