Obama's writings - whoa !

I wouldn’t recommend purchasing his books, but checking them out from the public library and verifying the quotes… this is a dangerous individual that has not been truthful, evidently with very much he has uttered in public. Particularly the last quote!















This guy wants to be our President and control our government. Pay close attention to the last comment!! Below are a few lines from Obama's books ' his words:

From Dreams of My Father: 'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'

From Dreams of My Father: 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race.'

From Dreams of My Father:& amp; amp; nbsp; 'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'

From Dreams of My Father: ; 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'

From Dreams of My Father: 'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Afr ica, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, Dubois and Mandela.'

From Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'











Holy Cow ! He's lost his mind, and so has anyone that votes for him ! Go be President of a Muslim country, then !

First of all the stuff about his race don't bother me much coming from a "mixed" person. He is trying to find his identity and clearly he felt he was having to ingratiate himself to the whites to fit in....looking a lot more black than white. This was at a young age and I can understand that. He is being candid.

On the Muslim quote... now, without the context we don't really know what was being said. That is the problem with polemics like this. All those are out of context.

It sounds like he is saying if our nation turns against the Muslims...like it did against the Japanese during WW2 and blacks for many years, that he will stand with them. He is not saying "I will stand with my terrorist brothers when the bombs start dropping"

Folks...the man is as liberal as any Democrat can get. Hillery is more of a centrist. We don't need this kind of stuff to know NOT to vote for him. BTW if he was hiding stuff...and all these quotes were damning...how can that be hiding when they are from his books? He seems to be a lot more candid than most candidates in the past.

I'd tend to agree with Prax. The "stand with the muslims..." quote sounds like he's talking about some hypothetical of Muslims being persecuted. Personally, I'd like to think that I would stand up for the innocent in such a circumstance, Muslims or not.

I'm not voting for Obama because of his liberal voting record in the Senate and because I don't agree at all with his politics. In fact, I'd vote for a Muslim Republican before I voted for the "Christian" Obama.
