Please Pray For The Monkeys...FLOOD!!!

I am sitting in the basement with a pump, shopvac, water meters, and my laptop....our city is being flooded, hopefully it will recede soon, I have heard that it might be! We had a Flood in 1973, todays totals are supposed to surpass the '73 flood.

Here are some pics, I will post the ones from close to the house at the end...Please Pray!!!!

Ok, this is what started it...this is a dirty snowbank from a week ago...We had a ton of snow this winter.



This is the beattiful Saint John River that divides our city....

This is that same river, notice the treetops...underneath all that water are park benches and a beautiful walking trail


This is the main road on the North side of the river, there are some beautiful historical homes here....



This is where some kids like to play ball...BTW, this is getting close to home!




And now the scary partat least for me....This is the road next to us....



and this is our neighbor's backyard, 2 houses down....please pray!!!!



And finally my good friend and neighbor who is a great Christian man is distraught as he is standing knee deep in sewage in his basement, please remember Doug. We also have two church families on his street, they are flooded to but no sewage yet, again, please pray!

Sorry to hear you're so close MM... the Nashwaak has come up behind our house and is near to our basement but I don't think it's going to come in. The walking trail is completely covered.. I took a picture of some ducks swimming up it yesterday.
