Cologne and Perfumes

In other thread I read that a female poster considered a male wearing cologne as a huge turn on and even percieved as coming on to her.

It made me wonder how others felt about it and perhaps more importantly if I, as a married man, should be wearing the stuff....

Soooo.... tell me do you wear it ? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Perfumes and Colognes... should we wear them??

Nope. I don't wear men's cologne. I think the reason why is pretty obvious.

I think it is becoming to the christian to be clean and smell nice...You do not have to waste money on expensive perfumes. There are nice smelling perfumes that are not expensive....soap and water, toothpaste and perfume...are becoming to a christian.

Re: Cologne and Perfumes

I love to smell great! I wear it for myself and myself only. I love it when my husband wears drakkar... Now, to say that the wearing of cologne is wrong.... then, I think someone has mucho problemos.....(like there's not enough real sin to preach about)

Re: Cologne and Perfumes

Armani Mani is the best! I also wear Emporio. Both are great and I like wearing them.
If someone has an issue with it, might I suggest that they just not wear fragrance? After all, if they find it to be such a turn on, then maybe there is an underlying problem of lust in their lives that should be dealt with.
Just a thought...

Re: Cologne and Perfumes

I LOVE to wear perfumes or colognes....oils are my fave!

Dolce Gabana and Patti LaBelle are fave oils.

I love to smell good....And LC you're right...

But its just like these preachers who can't get over women wearing their skirts one inch too short...

Or wearing their hair down...

Once they comply with that another 'standard' is preached always on the women.

Cuz we dont wanna incite lust on the poor fellas...God forbid!
