Will Obama's Pastor Be His Down Fall?

I know there is a similar thread regarding Obama's pastor-

But this Jeremiah Wright is in a league all his own!

Do you think Obama is telling the truth when, for much of the rhetoric Wright said--especially the TV coverage-Obama wasn't even there?

Do you think people will retract their support of Obama when they discover who and what his pastor believes?

Or does his Pastor have nothing to do with what Obama believes and his political aspirations?

Not likely. He is too charismatic and people friendly for people to latch this onto him. I don't.

I don't think it will make much of a difference, to be honest with you. The man isn't even his pastor any more. He retired.

To be honest with I believe that Obama's pastor has hurt his campaign.I think the only way that his campaign can be saved is if he cuts ties with him.

Re: Will Obama's Pastor Be His Down Fall?

This is a story that could really stick to Obama for a while .

In the months leading up to the election, the Republicans, talk radio, the conservative blogs, etc, will make sure America is reminded of Rev Jeremiah Wright and his words. This could come back to haunt Obama.

And so it should. As this was his spiritual leader.

Jeanie,

People will believe what they want to believe regardless of what the truth is.
If he is as bad as people say, if people like him-they will believe him.
If he is as good as he is being potrayed, if people don't like him-they will disdain him.

As for me, there isn't a politician I trust.

Re: Will Obama's Pastor Be His Down Fall?

Barack Hussein Obama has been declaring that he is a not a Muslim but is a Christian and references how long he has been a member of that church. If people get to looking into what that church and pastor have stood for over the years they will realize that the term "Christian" is applied rather loosely.

Will it hurt him? Probably not. African Americans get by with stuff that white folks can't get by with. African Americans can make very racist statements and can take very racist positions, and their churches can be very political. If white folks tried this they would be pummeled in the Media, would have to resign any position they held, would have to apologize over and over again publicly, and the local church would probably lose its tax exempt status.

Politician - conjoined descriptive word combining two aspects of those who are labeled such...

poly- many in number

tick - blood sucking, disease carrying insects that cause great damage and destruction wherever they go.

Wright and even Obama espouse a radical form of Liberation Theology. A combined Marxist World View with a Theological spin, very popular in Latin America.
