A covenant people, in God's eyes, are an entire creation, worthy of being spoken of in creative language. Why did God use creative language to describe the time he gave a people his covenant and called them "ZION"?

Well, very simply I believe that at the end of time God is going to create a new heaven and a new earth for his Bride (the church) to dwell in for eternity. It seems to me that although we will go to heaven that the new earth is our final destination.

The New Heavens and New Earth are symbolic, as are all the visions in Revelation. Heavens and Earth describe creation, a spiritual creation, and when Christ died on the Cross, all things for those who had faith in Christ, became new.
Revelation uses the same biblical language as God used repeatedly throughout the Old Testament when it came to judgment and His people. When we see this, and the numerous things that point to Christ's Cross, we cannot help but see what the truth is behind the meaning and reasoning in Revelation.

One of the questions my class is discussing is who will live in the new heaven and new earth if they are two seperat places???? Opinions?
Interesting to see these kids digging for answers, opinions...
I like to provoke ( in a good sense) them to seeing what they really believe, what they can dig up...
Better them spend their time like this than on a lot of other things...
I have a deep love for the young people and am blessed when they are studing because they want to study.
