How was your service tonight?

WOW! We had an awesome service. The church was packed with people.

Wonderful presence of the Lord in everything that was said and done and we baptized two and several new people repented.

We had the group from the trinity church that are my friends and they liked our service. They seemed to have enjoyed the Bible study I gave them on baptism in Jesus name. I don´t think they had ever seen anything or any church quite like us....ha...

No one wanted to go home so we danced and had a time even after the service was officially dismissed! The little crippled lady that was healed while we were in the states wanted to show us she could walk...so you can imagine what seeing a miracle does to the crowd...

One of the church brothers borrowed my shofar and he blew it while we worshipped..He did so good. I love the sofar blowing in worship and praise but some of my American friends think it is quite charismatic of me to like it.
lol...

We are getting ready for our convention (regional) May 1-4 and believe me we have lots to do to get ready for it...
Since our people are very poor we start a good while before getting food and supplies ready. Today we took up 3 offerings! First one regular offering, then a missionary offering for the jungle work and then a offering to buy plastic glasses for convention...Each Sunday from now to convention we will be taking up offerings to buy more plates, oil, coffee, rice, beans and other items...so when convention comes we will already have some things.

Everyone is so excited we have so many things planned for coming weeks...we are working on building a new wing on our dining room and trying to get 4 more dorms finished and all by faith...but God will do it. His work needs it.

It is so hot here several of our sisters really suffer in this hot weather...our church is very hot and our worship is lively...so after service we are wet from head to toe...

You Americans are blessed with your air...

Blessings to all.

Re: How was your service tonight?

Awesome. A young boy who was left by his mother received the Holy Ghost tonight. He was shaking so strongly by the power of God he couldn't stand up!

His mother dropped him off at school, asked someone to pick him up after school let out, went home and packed everything and left. Just up and left him. He is so hurt.

Thank you Jesus for wrapping your loving arms around this boy. I pray that he would continue to follow after you so that he would receive complete healing and victory in his life!

That is one sad story, except for the ending.

Oh wow Sis... how awesome! This story touched me at the heart... this is the story of my sister and her siblings relived... There were 5 of them... cannot go into too much detail but they watched their mother die at the hands of their father and then he abused them daily for years after that... one day he left them totally alone... He went by a lady who attended our churches house... left a note on her front door in the middle of the night letting her know the kids were alone... she headed that way to church that morning to get them and found all 5 of them walking down beltline rd in Dallas on their way to a little grocery store where the girl would give her free milk for the younger kids... this sister pulled to her.. not telling her till years later it was at the prompting of her father... and asked to take them to church... by the end of that service they were all in foster homes within the church... the youngest being with the pastor himself..

These kids are all grown now and have all raised some wonderful families except the youngest he still lives with Ma and the Dad as he calls them but God brought those kids out and he did some wonderful things in their lives... there was mental torment more than you could ever imagine but ... God heals all things in his time! I will and my sister will pray for this young boy that he will feel that same healing they felt that day when someone in a church somewhere cared!!!

Amen, AG! His mother is a drug addict. Has been for years! It's a wonder she is still alive. I know the boy can't understand that the woman can't even think to care about anything but her addiction, but maybe someday when he's older he will get it.

Thanks for you prayers. He was sooooo astonished at the power of God. He's such an awkward child. Our whole youth group prayed through last night. Every single one. Even the children. God is good!
