Frustrated Grace.

I am crucified with christ:nevertheeless I live;yet not I but Christ liveth in me:and the life which now I live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,who loved me and gave himself for me.
I do not frustrate the grace of God:for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ died in vain. GALATIANS 2:20,21

Here we have The Apostle Paul
writing something of great importance to the Christian community of Galatia.
Bro.Paul states that since He is crucified with Christ, that he lives, but yet not according to his own dictates but yet he lives his life,by The Lordship of Christ according to the faith of the Son of God.

Bro.Paul states that He doesn't frustrate or nullify the grace of God, by depending on the law or torah to make him righteous.
In the old covenant, people would trust in God and then practice God's laws because of their trust in him, take Abraham for example for Abraham believed God and was counted as righteous, yet his faith in God produced faith motivated works and obedience to the One True God and his holy law.

You see if we depend on the works we do to obtain righteousness, then we nullify of frustrate the grace of God, because if man could provide salvation in himself then the death of Christ would be in vain.

If we have faith in Christ it will produce fruit and Holy works as a result of the grace of God that is at work in our lifes, but if we trust in our actions or works to make us righteous then we nullify the grace of God.
For salvation is either all of grace or none of grace, either we submit and let the grace of God work in our lives or we frustrate the Grace of God.

Our works are either motivated by faith in Jesus Christ,or our works are motivated by false self righteousness that comes from confidence in the flesh, and what our human nature can produce.

Do we let grace have it's way or do we frustrate Holy Grace by our human efforts ?

I have another one called responsible grace, and one called His purpose shall stand if anyone is interested I'll post them here before too long.
People I have been going through a valley time of life, but God has spoken to me through His word during this time so this trial has been a blessing.

The grace of God is one of my favorite doctrines in the bible, which I believe the doctrine of Grace has been misunderstood by many.

I think there's one in the book on not "frustrating the grace of God" too.

There's lot's in the book about grace my friend.....and ain't none of it greasy.

Whoever came up with that saying (greasy grace)...out to be ashamed.

Sorry you have been going through a valley Bro. Scott, but happy that the Lord has given you the strength through His word to help you through it. And most always when you have moved out of the valley you see His blessing. He is so faithful.

Grace, grace, God's grace
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within
Grace, grace, God's grace
Grace that is greater than all our sin.
