Lunch Meeting - Coonskinners, Sherri & Renda

YEAH!!!!!

I finally met CS and Lady CS and broke cornbread with them!

On the way to Cornith they met Sherri & I for lunch at Cracker Barrel in Memphis - it just wasn't enough time!

I thought Lady CS would carry the conversation, but CS beat us all! It was so great to finally meet these awesome people!

LOL......he was composing it as he sang it. We were talking about something and Sherri said it sounded like the situation would make a good country song, so he took off making it up as he sang.........not bad either.

Well, Sherri and I are on Weight Watchers, so we did the grilled chicken strips, baby carrots and green beans (Sherri had pinto beans).

LadyCS had grilled chicken strips, mashed taters and green beans.

CS had two bowls of white gravy with a little fried chicken steak on the side, mashed taters, turnip greens (phew!!!)

You might have gotten to have lunch with them, but tomorrow night I get to hear him preach.

Glad it worked out where you could meet them too. I still think you should come to Corinth tomorrow evening to hear him preach.

I would like that too, but don't get out of church in time. I've heard him preach via internet a few times - does that count?
