That is very scary. And the Wal Mart here had a sign that said they tried to sell products made in America. Most of the shoes I looked at there were made in China. Lot of toys too. From the looks of that lady's feet she may be lucky she didn't die from the infection.

Not just with flip flops, but also with clothes. People do tend to have reactions to different fabrics..that is why one should wash any new clothes, and linens (bed sheets before putting them on) Watch the shoe dept. people that try on shows with bare feet..might have a fungus! yuck! And then you might try on the same shoes..
