Unhappy advise for 3 day nose bleed...

I've had this nose bleed for 3 days now, it's not pouring out my nose... just kinda fills and drys in my nose It is red fresh blood... I'll clean my nose out and not even 5 minutes later it is full again, kinda like blood boogers or somthin.... I've been trying saline nasel spray and It's keeping my nose from feeling like I have knives in it, but there is still the blood. No fans, open windows, or vents above my head when I sleep.... I think that answers the questions everyone else asks.....

any advise, anyone?

My son had this problem and finally had to have his nose cauterized to ever get it to stop.

Hasn't had the problem since. His was caused from allergies always keeping the lining inside his nose raw.

Gross!

Go to a doctor! You may have a vein that needs cauterization.

Put vaseline in there...keeps it moisturized and doesn't evaporate.

My daughter Alanna has a vein near the surface inside her nose and we periodically have to give her some vaseline on the tip of a finger and insert inside her nose.
She doesn't like it-but it works!
