Does your church do a lots of plays and skits

I was shocked the other day when an American told me their church did not believe in plays and skits.
Do you all do things like this in your church?

Sis. Alvear,

Our youth department has separate services on Wednesday nights and plays and skits are a big part of their effort to communicate the message of Jesus Christ. Also our Sunday school children are involved in a lot of this activity. The adults are too dull and boring so we only do an Easter drama every other year.

BTW... did you receive the Cards I sent?

We don't, but we don't have the people to do it.... However I used to not be fond of plays and such, but I've mellowed on the idea more now.

Yes we do. We also do the signing thing. We had a concert for Christmas sunday and the signs team performed and let me say that it was a blessing. I honestly believe those people were moved on by the Holy Spirit. I don't usually feel that way with the signs team but it is still a blessing, but this last time was something else...it was really amazing. I can't explain. The youth recently put on a huge production called Lair Beneath. We have a lot of people come to these events

I honestly love things like that I think it is a means of reaching people that will not read the bible but through a play or skit or whatever the bible becomes real to them.
I have seen many people come to the Lord through these type outreaches.
