What is your Passion??

I am reading a book about Nehemiah, and during the course of my reading this question came to me.

So what is your passion? What is it that really floats your boat? Starts your engine? What is it that you would even do for free because of the desire and fulfillment you get from doing it??

What is your passion?

Pentecostal Unity. And, ironically, the passion came while I was reading the Book of Nehemiah. Started writing a study on the Unity of the Spirit entitled "Walls from the Rubble".

Establish "The Pentecostal Heritage Library" Where books, tapes, videos, tracts, magazines, etc. would be available to anyone who wanted to stop by for an hour or a day and learn about "Our Pentecostal Heritage". Got much material to get it started, just don't have the place.

Seriously, anything to do with ministry (not just pulpit) and family can give me great satisfaction!

My passion is (and is basically unrealized at the present) to help the truly helpless - to help those who have no advocate. To give assistance to those who have no hope and no one to believe in them. It's to help people who have given up on themselves. This may be spiritually, physically, emotionally, etc. From my experiences, I've learned that if you have something to offer others, you get their attention. What about those who seemingly have nothing to offer you and the only gain you get is what you give?

When I do something and KNOW I am not going to get anything in return from the people other than the satisfaction of knowing I have helped them and knowing that I've made a difference in their lives for the better, that's when I am content knowing that I have done the Will of God.

Sounds simple - but it involves giving everything. We can all do this in PRAYER.

I can't really act on the above as I would like, I have to go into the world and work for money so many hours per day. Even as a child I always had a compassion for those who were helpless and hurting.
