My AFF Apology

November 29, 2007

Dearest Friends and Loved Ones,

I write this letter with a warm heart filled with the abundant grace of our Lord.

OK, enough of the religious stuff.

AFF is probably one of the most forgiving and open forums I have ever been a part of. Sadly, in the past, I have acted in such a disgraceful and prideful manner, and in so doing, I attacked this forum, the administration, and the moderators thereof.

In light of my being welcomed back to this forum, I want to openly and publicly apologize for my actions and my hate directed against this forum. I apologize for the name calling, the slander, the innuendo, and the downright mean and ungodly fashion I came against this forum.

RGCraig is correct in that recent events have caused a much needed change in my heart. I see that majoring on the minors is a real waste of time, and will turn a soul into a hateful individual. I do not want to go back to that. I will not return to that.

Thanks to all for the love shown, and know that you all have a friend in Houston.

Sincerely,
William Michael (Bill) Price

I forgive you. Now continue in the grace of God and don't look back at your past mistakes.

No doubt. Took off half a day from work with a pulled muscle in my leg/ankle. Believe it or not, was called by my Executive Director asking me to be the Santa Clause for the Building Supervisor's Christmas Banquet. Wonder why he immediately thought of me as being 'perfect for that role'?

Continue to walk in your decision to end the religiosity, Bill, and continue to walk in Covenant relationship with your Maker.

Enough of "we're the only ones holy and saved camp"... enough of hanging around the personal kingdom builders... enough of endeavoring to fit in with the self-righteous hypocrites...

Get to know the One True LOVING God who gave Himself as a sacrifice for our weakneses and rebellion... and strive to emulate him.

Be a reflection of Him

Last night, I was up for most of the night with my Dad. He is losing focus badly. He is not eating whatsoever, except for a few bites. His screams of pain and his cries for death to come have caused me to see, I could not make it except for the Lord walking with me.

I am tired. But, I have this incredible peace in the midst of the storm, one that is not based on my good works or my religiousness. I came to know, in the past few months, that Jesus is not far and I need to call on Him to come near. I found Him here, at Hardy Rd.

Yes, much has changed. Through shed blood, sweat, and tears, much has changed.

BINGO!

This is some of the best advice I've ever read, my friend.......and all of us, no matter who we are, or at what station of life, would do well to live by this.

JT, btw, I do wear shorts at home now. For some reason though, I dare not wear them outside, for fear of causing mass panic.
